About Marissa Rodriguez (Attorney)

Marissa Rodriguez earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a Minor in Law, Politics, and Society at California State University, Fullerton in May 2017 and earned her Juris Doctor degree with an Emphasis in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law in May 2021.

Marissa went to law school with the specific intent of practicing family law. Marissa is passionate about assisting people in their legal family matters and domestic relations. While in law school, Marissa had the opportunity to work as both a law clerk and summer associate for multiple Orange County family law firms and gained valuable experience from each.

During her time at Chapman, Marissa was very active in her law school community and tailored her participation toward a career in family law. Marissa was President of the Children and Family Law Society at the law school, where she organized panel discussions with family law attorneys at the law school, established volunteer opportunities for law students to assist low-income families in family law matters, and held information sessions to assist the community in understanding their legal options. Marissa was also certified as a Law Student Attorney at the Bette and Wylie Aitken Family Protection Clinic, where she assisted survivors of domestic violence in obtaining protection orders and navigating the family law court system.

As an attorney, she looks forward to assisting clients in navigating their family law matters to a complete resolution.
